The Partnership, in collaboration with FedsForward, is launching a topical FedSupport miniseries focused on specific federal jobs and mission areas. The first session on the “great outdoors” will explore how former federal employees who are passionate about nature and conservation can translate their skills into sectors beyond the federal government. The panel will feature leaders with federal backgrounds who have applied their skills and passions to environmental work outside of government, as well as representatives from the private and nonprofit sectors who collaborate closely with federal compliance teams and value similar skill sets. Together, they will share insights on the intersection of outdoor stewardship, climate goals and cross-sector collaboration. This series is part of our #SummerofCivilService efforts alongside Civil Service Strong.
