When: Wednesday, October 8, from noon to 1:30 p.m. EDT
In partnership with FedsForward and OneAID, FedSupport is hosting a two-part event, on Oct. 8, from noon to 1:30 p.m. EDT. This event is designed to support the broader international assistance community during a time of unprecedented challenge and professional uncertainty. This event is open to any and all who have been impacted by recent cuts in the international space including those formerly in government or with NGOs and other partners.
This panel brings together voices from OneAID’s community, to share candid career path insights, myth-busting tips and strategies for translating international service into meaningful domestic and private sector opportunities. From learning to translate skills to better resonate across sectors, to highlighting successful career transition pathways, exploring temporary and gig/contract work, volunteering and networking, the discussion will offer both practical tools and experience-backed motivation. Immediately after the panel, participants can join an interactive session with experts to learn how to translate international experience into sector-agnostic language, strengthen their resumes and navigate today’s challenging job market.
