How it works
Follow the step-by-step process outlined below to schedule your individual session with a Partnership career coach today:
- Complete the intake form: Share your goals and submit payment.
- Receive a confirmation email: Includes a link to your coach’s scheduling page.
- Book your session: Choose the time that works for you. Sessions are scheduled Monday-Friday between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET.
- Meet with your coach: Gain personalized strategies and next steps.
Please note: wait times are updated regularly. Once you complete the intake form and submit payment, you’ll be contacted by your coach. Most appointments are scheduled within 1-3 weeks of registration.

Our coaches bring deep expertise in federal service, workforce transitions, and career development. With backgrounds spanning higher education, nonprofits, and the private sector, they understand both the value of federal employment and how to help you communicate that value as you explore new opportunities. We believe every professional has a unique story, and the key to a successful career pivot is learning how to tell that story with clarity and confidence. Our approach is practical, strengths-based, and tailored to your goals.

Kristen Carroll
Manager, Workforce Programs
About Kristen
Kristen Carroll is a Manager of Workforce Programs at the Partnership for Public Service, where she helps people find purpose and growth in their public service careers. She brings more than a decade of experience in career development and employer engagement, having coached hundreds of students and professionals through pivotal transitions. She draws on her understanding of how employers think and hire to help clients highlight their strengths in ways that truly resonate.
At the Partnership, Kristen leads initiatives that strengthen the public sector talent pipeline, managing programs like the Future Leaders in Public Service Internship Program and the Harold W. Rosenthal Fellowship in International Relations. She has designed and facilitated career and leadership development programs for agencies including the National Institute of Standards and Technology, the U.S. Forest Service, the U.S. Army, and the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. Most recently, Kristen helped launch Career Pivot Coaching and the Career Pivot Bootcamp to help current and former federal employees navigate career change with confidence and clarity. She’s passionate about empowering people to recognize their strengths, tell their stories effectively, and pursue work that aligns with their values and impact goals.

Bola is a dedicated leadership coach and senior manager with expertise in fostering growth and resilience. She focuses on helping individuals identify their strengths, embrace authenticity, and achieve lasting success. Currently, she leads workforce programs at the Partnership for Public Service, creating impactful training and promoting collaborative cultures across various industries.
With a background in learning and development, Bola excels at building supportive environments that inspire positive change. She is pursuing a Leadership Coaching Certificate at Georgetown and is certified in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and performance coaching.
Passionate about lifelong learning and servant leadership, Bola is committed to empowering clients to unlock their full potential and confidently navigate their next chapter.

Katy Hogan
Director, Workforce Programs
About Katy
Katy Hogan leads the Partnership’s strategy to inspire the next generation to consider a career in public service. In her role, she manages several key government internship programs and oversees the Call to Serve network of colleges and universities. Previously, Katy directed Ohio State University’s Washington, DC internship and fellowship programs through the John Glenn College of Public Affairs, welcoming 75+ students to Washington annually for career-launching internship experiences.
Katy also worked on a U.S. State Department program that sends high school students abroad to learn critical languages. Through this work, Katy developed a passion for building high-impact professional programs and supporting the career development of aspiring public servants.
Katy has extensive experience in providing career coaching to aspiring public servants at every phase of the journey – defining personal brank, LinkedIn, resumes, cover letters, job search strategy, interview prep and salary negotiation. She is also a certified coach through the Center for Credentialing & Education.
Katy’s favorite public servants are the National Park Service rangers that have made her visits to 40 National Parks (so far—she’ll visit all 63 someday) fun and engaging.
